How to Participate:
  • FWC is interested in ANY sightings of diamondback rattlesnakes since 2000, but sightings from public or private conservation lands are particularly important.
  • Please upload a photograph, if available, so that identification can be confirmed. By uploading a photo, you agree to have your photo deposited in the Florida Museum of Natural History’s Herpetology Collection in your name as a permanent record (voucher).
  • If you can’t accurately map where you saw the snake, please enter the conservation land where it was seen.
  • Additional comments, questions or pictures can be sent to Anna Farmer (Anna.Farmer@MyFWC.com).
